I am a Freshman at Marshall University. Next fall I will be majoring in Communications, with an emphasis in Interpersonal Communications. My experience with customer service, being a part of SGA, being secretary of a club, and volunteering has helped me get closer to figuring out what direction I want to go in career-wise.
As an SGA apprentice, I worked in the Student Life department. While I was there I learned from my fellow apprentices and senators. I spent a lot of time with my mentor and participated in various events on campus. I was able to become a senator but I resigned shortly after. Before I resigned, I was also working on a resolution on implementing pest control in dormitories on campus.
I helped with handing out T-shirts to people who were coming to homecoming court at Marshall University.
