· Led comprehensive revision of the organization’s mission and vision, crafting actionable strategies, performance measures, and timelines.

· Participated   in legislative advocacy (through in person meetings with legislators and/or written testimony) relating to affordable housing, rent assistance, tenant rights and protections with noteworthy advocacy for the passage of Oregon Senate Bill 611 among many other bills.

· Conducting interviews and consulting in the hiring of the organization’s management and   executive team.

· Providing fiscal oversight over the organization’s annual budgetary formulation and   implementation.

· In-person meetings with state legislators and other stakeholders to champion bills   aimed at combating tenant rights abuses and solutions, homelessness and other housing related issues by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with lawmakers, government officials, and other advocacy groups.

· Assisting tenants via the organizations’ hotline by recording tenant-related issues, including advising and referring them to appropriate legal authorities and community assistance

· Led comprehensive revision of the organization’s vision and mission statements and translated them into actionable strategies, performance measures, and timelines.

· Designed, conducted, and facilitated several full-day retreats covering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, organizational policies and procedures.

· Designed marketing materials for prospective donors, and provided personalized   engagement opportunities, resulting in increased donor participation.

· Organized donor recognition events, including personalized communications, highlighting   the impact of their contribution on the community.

· Managed   multiple projects simultaneously (i.e., donor relationship cultivation,   policy advocacy, designing and facilitating employee performance development   training).

· Created   high-quality visual aids for training sessions using relevant design and   presentation platforms including, Google Slides, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite,   Microsoft 365 (including PowerPoint), among others.

Liberation Literacy

· Prison reform advocacy, sourcing funding for study materials for liberation studies classes in prison.

· Raised through grant writing and feature events (including personal music performances) for reentry programs. resulting in securing a five-year $500,000 yearly endowment from private philanthropists.

· Connected former prisoners to appropriate community resources and mentors.

· Recruited and coordinated volunteers to offer rehabilitation programs in jails and prisons, ensuring a successful and continuous flow of rehabilitation mentors since 2015.

· Spoke and gave music performances at organizational fundraising events.
