My name is Mylee Ruth Casey, and I am a 17-year-old native of the small rural town of Liberty in southwest Mississippi. I have attended Amite School Center since kindergarten. During my time at A.S.C., I have been actively involved in extracurricular activities including cheerleading, dance, and archery, earning all-star honors in both dance and archery.
I have also enjoyed serving as a leader within my school community through roles such as class officer and involvement in Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Beta Club. Alongside these activities, I have remained dedicated to my academics while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I am an active member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church and enjoy time spent with the youth group.
I aspire to become a medical doctor and serve others by promoting overall health and well-being. In the summer of 2025, I was selected as a Delegate for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston, Massachusetts, where I received an Award of Excellence. In the summer of 2026, I will travel to Vietnam to participate in a two-week medical educational program with the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists.
