DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America)

Vice President of Chapter Resources 

• Prepared events for our chapter for roleplay events and provided resources to members of DECA for them to be successful in competition.
• Proactively engaged in virtual stock market game, virtual business challenge centered around B2B2C model, and advanced in District and State Level Competitions.
• Judged and critiqued roleplays for members to give them feedback to be successful in competition.

Empowering Youth in Business

Co-President

• Created the base cubiculum for the fundamental principals for business and developed projects such as shark tank project, for members to think innovatively and critically.
• Recruited middle school students across FBISD interested in finance to teach them the basic principles of marketing, finance, and accounting.
• Constructed weekly meetings and structured them for members to increase participation and interest in business.

South Asian Student Association

Treasurer

• Organized a Garba event with over 250 students from FBISD to celebrate our South Asian culture by dancing, eating culture foods, and wearing cultural clothing.
• Handled the money and budgeting for this event, as I created reasonable price tickets, using the money to buy food, drinks, and snacks to provide to students.
• Planned meetings for students and socials for them to embrace their culture and learn more about the heritage and original roots of it.

Mu Alpha Theta 

• Embarrassed my passion for math through actively engaging in events, volunteer campaigns, and socials, where we promoted the enjoyment and interest in various mathematical concepts.

National Honor Society

• Volunteered over 20 hours each year through Houston Food Bank, Lunches of Love, Miles Marathon, and other great opportunities to promote the betterment of the community.

National Science Honor Society

• Conducted after-school labs where I created lab-reports, learned the roots of various advanced concepts in Physics, Biology, Environmental Science, and Chemistry.
• Implemented change in socials and created goggle-forms to create new and improved activities and labs for students to participate in.

National English Honor Society

• Demonstrated advanced abilities in composition, linguistic study, creative writing, and advanced workshops.

UNICEF

• Fought for change and rights to make your voice heard in school by learning the various aspects of debates and creating a safe society or community.

Key Club

• Performed service, learned leadership skills, and developed my own individual personality through helping the community.
• Helped figure out my identity and my passions to transform myself into an active leader in the community.

Student Council

• Implemented change and growth in school atmosphere through positive affirmations. Created small notes and words to help boost self-esteem, by placing these notes in bathrooms and hallways.
• Focused on the betterment of the school through volunteering long hours and strategizing new ways to bring the school together as a whole.
