Group Leaders work daily with youth, building relationships that endure and leading activities that open possibilities. A Sunrise Group Leader is responsible for supervising and providing programming to an assigned group of K-12th grade students. Group Leaders prepare and lead structured activities, play games with students, and make their time together fun, engaging, and enriching. In all activities, the Group Leader will use a trauma-informed approach to create a positive, fun atmosphere while maintaining health and safety guidelines in accordance with Philadelphia Health Department regulations, all grant requirements, and the strategic goals defined by the Sunrise administrative team.
