- Cultured and labeled sheep cardiac progenitor cells, which were injected into infarcted sheep hearts. Subsequently sectioned heart tissue to assess cardiac repair via IHC staining and confocal microscopy.
- Cultured cardiac progenitor cells under simulated microgravity for NASA project currently in progress.
- Produced, purified and quantified large quantities of protein from e.coli, utilizing salt fractionation and Ni-NTA resin.
- Trained students, interns and post-docs in cell culture technique, protein purification and general lab methods.
