- Assist employees with payroll issues and concerns, as well as rectify SSTA issues.
- Monitoring payroll reports in SSTA to ensure time is entered correctly.
- Enter deductions for tax information, direct deposits, union dues, Smart Plan contributions, short-term disability, Colonial Life insurance, and AFLAC insurance.
- Assist new hires with payroll questions about benefit package documents.
- Payroll matters, such as overtime payments, reclassifications, and any payroll issues.
- Process buybacks of vacation, sick, and compensation time for retiring and terminating employees.
- Coordinator for employees with the Group Insurance Commission through their MAGIC system. Optional life insurance, basic life insurance, long-term disability, health insurance, and dental insurance.
- Contact TASC for annual enrollment, deductions, changes in enrollment, and refund requests.
- Transit and parking deductions through VOYA.
- Verifications of employment for mortgages, car accidents. and Massachusetts health.
- Wage and salary verification for insurance claims and the Retirement Board.
- Refunds/Rollovers for the Massachusetts Retirement Board.
- Annual enrollments for the Paid Leave Bank.
- Individual Paid Leave Banks
- Contact for Local 6, NAGE Union dues, and dental insurance.
- Provide assistance for over 1,700 probation employees, financial institutions, and court departments.
