Responsible for purchasing microbiology laboratory supplies
Oversee two Micro Lab technicians
Perform microbiological testing including pathogens, on incoming raw materials, spices, and finished products
Practice good laboratory procedures and aseptic techniques
Maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment needed for testing
Maintain laboratory equipment, perform calibration and take care of other routine maintenance items
Report, distribute, and maintain lab records

Ensure parts room remains organized and clean
Ensure stock items are in place and readily available
Maintain inventory of parts, and status of orders to ensure critical parts are received in a timely manner
Initiate work orders to mechanics to expedite issuance of parts for down equipment
Ensure all parts are properly issued to a work order
Ensures parts issues/returns are properly logged and entered into database
Monitor/control consumable items and company owned tools
Conduct, document, maintain maintain on file inspection of company owned vehicles and tools
Inform maintenance department management personnel of all abnormal inspection results
Pick up stock items delivered to warehouse receiving, verify packing slip and take items to parts room
Physically place items into inventory or back into inventory in a timely manner
Enter into database receipts delivered
Complete cycle counts daily, make corrections and adjustments as needed
Maintain a daily shift pass-down log
Responsible for developing, maintaining a file system in both electronic and paper formats for all items received
Monitor, verify all newly/previously received part or item are correctly entered into database and assigned to a bin location
Update all location tags with stock number, original equipment manufacturers part number, supplier part number and name of equipment/machine part/item fits on
Analyze information, evaluate results to choose best solution and solve problems
Assists in clearing blocked invoices

Verify and document hourly check on product, viscosity of batter, fryer, and oven settings
Review production activities and capabilities in light of contact requirements

Verify by test or inspection, using sampling inspection or intensive product inspection techniques, that products complied with requirements prior to acceptance
