• Diagnosis and management of various infectious diseases in inpatient and outpatient setting
• Active involvement in new development and continued improvement of an Antimicrobial Stewardship program with pharmacy staff and providers. Collaborated with staff and team to create improved guidelines in the appropriate use of antibiotics. Education and training in management of patients with varying infectious diseases and complexities. Working in a tertiary care hospital with level 1 trauma center providing care to patients in MA, CT, Vermont and NY. Developed proficiency and competency in the management of multiple infections with the diagnosis and proper treatment protocols to follow. Daily inpatient wards involving several patients of varying complexities. Active leader in inpatient service for the residents and medical students rounding on our service. Training and proficiency in antibiotic stewardship through

active involvement with our Infectious Disease Pharmacist and staff members to ensure that proper antibiotics were used, approval of restricted antibiotics and de-escalation of antibiotics. Active role in infection control helping to improve our guidelines/recommendations and answering all questions/concerns regarding the guidelines.

Involved in our hospitals outpatient clinics which involved general Infectious Disease and HIV clinic. Heavily involved in the improvement of our hospitals OPAT which includes the development of a video explaining OPAT to patients in the inpatient setting and also heavily involved in OPAT as an outpatient to monitor patients compliance with treatment and any issues or concerns patient had.
