While working at Apps Paramedical I was responsible for performing medical history and healthcare screening on behalf of life insurance companies. I was responsible for interviewing patients to obtain their medical history, their measurements(blood pressure, pulse, weight and height), drawing blood and obtaining urine.

In the two years of working for Apps I was named multiple times in the monthly top 5 for both 100% Paramed completion rate and zero lab errors.

• Spoke with patient to gather information for lab records, reduce fear or anxiety and optimize cooperation.
• Centrifuged blood samples as outlined in clinical protocols.
• Labeled transfer tubes and followed exact directions for handling and storing specimens for transport.
• Completed proper sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work areas between patients.

• Provided care for two children aged 8 months and 3 years old.
• Supported children in daily activities, including playing, meals and snacks, hygiene and socialization.
• Built positive and nurturing environments to support child social and emotional growth.

My job consisted of operating the deli and coffee counter, receiving and stocking merchandise, communicating with costumers and helping with heir shopping needs. I was also responsible for the cash register and balancing the money draw at the end of each shift.
