Throughout my program for my part have learned the tooth number of permanent and primary dentition, such as, universal, ISO, and Palmer. Understood the treatment planning, such as, existing and needed and how to label treatments on each tooth. Learned about periodontal charting, for instance, periodontal probing of which is healthy or not and listening while typing the numbers down. Learned patient education, prevention and assisting in procedures like dental caries, periodontal disease, and extractions. Understanding fixed prosthodontics, for instance, crowns, bridges and veneers. Learned removable prosthodontics, for example, partial and full denture, and dental implants. Understanding the oral histology about occurring decay and memorized basic oral anatomy of where the pulp is or where the dentin.
