  • Key components of RCA's mental health model and curriculum:
  • Integrated care for co-occurring disorders: For patients with both a substance use disorder and a mental health condition (such as depression, anxiety, or PTSD), RCA offers a specialized "Balance" pathway. The curriculum in this pathway is designed to treat both conditions simultaneously.
  • Behavioral therapies: RCA utilizes several scientifically backed therapeutic interventions.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills: This is a core part of the curriculum, teaching patients skills for emotion regulation, crisis management, and improving relationships.

  • 12-step programming: An immersive 12-step curriculum is integrated into each patient's individualized treatment plan. This includes daily meetings and support for finding a sponsor.
