As Habitat Management Coordinator, my position was also responsible for leadership and coordination of the MDC invasive species program. During my time in this role, I worked diligently and collaboratively to accelerate the program, both internally and with Missouri and regional partners. As with the CCS and Habitat Management Program, in this capacity, I served as an influencer, focused on collaboration toward building shared vision and pooling resources toward the common threat of invasive species. Requiring immense communication and networking, I also led and served on several internal and statewide teams. In my role as Natural Resource Management Planner, I temporarily continued as interim coordinator of the invasive species program until MDC filled the newly-created dedicated position of Invasive Species Ecologist – a need, highlight, and compliment to the success of the program I administered!
Led initiatives with MoDOT teams and contractors to guarantee compliance with federal and state regulations.
