
I have over a decade of experience as an independent contractor/handyman and have worked in various roles ranging from Lawn Care Technician to Remediation Technician. I excel in problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail. I am well versed in the use of a variety of power tools, have worked in many areas of construction, and have a knack for picking up new skills quickly. I have been an independent contractor for almost 12 years. My primary role includes custom bathroom and kitchen installation, involving tile work. I am responsible for the management and implementation of many different aspects of construction. I do basic electrical and plumbing work and have a large knowledge of flooring installation. I am well versed in custom room construction including hanging dry wall and reframing walls. This role also provides me with experience in handyman work such as mounting, trimming, and basic repair.
I was the assistant coach for Wallace grade school. I coached 7th and 8th grade boys basketball for 2 years.
While employed at Stohr’s Lawn Service I was a lawn care and snow removal technition. I was responsible for the operation of a wide range of equipment including simple push mowers, large riding mowers, trimmers, shears, and chainsaws to keep lawns and landscapes well maintained. My job included small repairs and maintenance of the mowers and trimmers as needed.
While employed with Rainbow, I worked as a water certified remediation technician. During that time I utilized dehumidifiers, fans, and a water extraction system to remove and dry moisture from buildings and homes affected by leaks or breaks. I also worked as a mold technician, requiring the safe removal and remediation of mold growth. This portion of the job required the use of sprayers, containments, and heavy chemicals. As a fire technician as well, I was responsible for assessing and removing areas of homes damaged by flame and smoke.
