I am a detail-oriented Driller with in-depth understanding of safety protocols and team supervision. I'm also a team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. -As a driller, I am responsible for following an established drilling plan and procedure to ensure safe and efficient operations. As well as monitor drilling progress and make adjustments as necessary to optimize performance. I also work closely with RTM’s to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
-While working motors, I’m solely responsible for making sure the engines that power the drilling equipment run smoothly. I am also held accountable for the up-keep of other rig machinery like generators, forklifts, manlifts, and the catwalk. I also keep track of engine hours for preventative work and document labour tasks on the rig floor. I am responsible for communicating any failures or malfunctions to the driller.
In the above positions, I was responsible for running ST-80, tripping in and out, and making connections. I also weighed mud, maintained shakers, mixed necessary chemicals, and performed mud transfers to trip tanks. Lastly, as derrick, I tripped 4.5-5in. pipe, monitored mud cut and gain loss, as well as all of the other main tasks performed in the oilfield.
While well testing, I performed many duties. This included: recording data, rigging up and down, strapping frac tanks, rigging manifolds to sand traps, and going through vessels.
The skills I obtained at this job include: pipe, plastic, and bumper jobs. I also cleaned cellars, did rig wash, and pump jobs. In addition, participated in rigging up larger companies like Patterson and Trinidad.
As a disposal operator I acquired many skills. My job consisted of many responsibilities such as: sell and float oil, breakdown filter pods, empty rock catchers, clean the firewalls, maintain diesel and transfer pumps, manage gauges, and change filter shocks. It was also my job to maintain the facility and work area. I also performed the included task: weed eating, mowing, and power washing.
This occupation required the following: trimming trees, leaf blowing, stump grinding, operating man-lifts. As a lead, it was my responsibility to manage and direct the working crews.
