I am expected to operate and maintain a wide variety of trucks and equipment safely and to the best of my ability to complete roadway maintenance operations. Assist with any labor work that needs to be completed. Assist with traffic control using VDOT approved methods. Perform any and all snow and ice removal duties.

Operate and maintain and wide range of trucks and equipment safely and efficiently to perform roadway maintenance operations. I transported heavy equipment around from one jobsite to another using a pintle hook trailer behind a tandem dump truck as needed. I lead a crew of approximately 3 to 4 men on various different road maintenance operations including tree and brush removal, asphalt patching, underground stormwater pipe installation and replacement, stormwater pipe cleaning and flushing, ditching, sidewalk replacement and many more.

I assisted in maintaining a fleet of trucks and equipment as well as operating a fleet of emergency response vehicles. The company did mostly towing and recovery work as well as long haul and short haul truck and equipment transportation. I filled in wherever I was needed to get the job done
