Minden Nevada Opening, 06/07/25 - 09/20/25

  • Attended multiple career fairs and community events to promote to the Carson Valley that Minden was opening.
  • Attended the Nevada State Fair and Carson Valley Days Parade.
  • Attended career fairs at the local colleges and schools.
    Created a partnership with the local Chamber of Commerce and Social services who help relay the word about UPS.
  • Prepared several individuals to go to DSPT Integrad in anticipation for the Minden opening.
  • Hired 10+ part time supervisors for Minden by conducting sit down interviews with 30+ applicants, chose the best, and did a second interview with both the Division Manager and Business Manager of Minden.
  • Hired large groups of new hires, over 30 individuals, to work for the opening day.
  • Found the company and helped negotiate the price of the company that bussed all of our Package Drivers from Minden to Reno and South Lake Tahoe to pick up the package cars and bring them to Minden.
  • Continued to keep Minden Staffed throughout Peak season, for both permanent and seasonal employees.
