Assisted in family business specializing in start to finish interior and exterior painting projects. As well as, but not limited to roof/gutter cleaning, pressure washing, and deck staining. Gained hands-on experience with power tools and small engine equipment, learned about building types, construction materials, and layouts. I have gotten firsthand experience working with a crew to accomplish a task in a timely manner while delivering the highest quality work to our clients.

Collaborated with fellow firefighters and medically trained personnel to respond to calls while training for a full-time firefighter role.

During my 4 days off, I split my time at the student and main station assisting the on-duty crew; Responding, maintaining equipment, and additional hands-on training.

While at Hoodland's student station I've been able to improve emergency response times with regard to proximity and the large call volume on the mountain. This position has given me patient interactions, as well as structure. car and wildland fire experience as well as being part of a family and learning the roles and responsibilities in the service.
