  • Department of the Army ARCOM USA COMMENDTN MEDAL
  • Achievement 1: SPC Bowman served honorably as Information Technology Specialist in a Light Infantry Battalion from 7 October 2021 to 15 March 2024. SPC Bowman was responsible for the professional growth, welfare, and care of over one Soldier. Additionally, he supervised weekly repair activities of Lower Tactical Network equipment for the 2/30th Infantry Battalion. He participated in one Patriot Peak, one Patriot Summit Brigade Training Exercise and one JRTC Exercise.
  • Achievement 2: SPC Bowman was an important part in the Battalion Tactical Operations Center (TOC) becoming operational. He ensured that all Lower Tactical Network equipment was setup correctly to be established with FM Communication with Brigade. He gathered the information necessary for all ethernet ports to be turned on and tested. Supervised in the installation of ethernet lines to the various parts of the TOC ensuring maximum efficiency within the various sections of the TOC.
  • Achievement 3: SPC Bowman assisted in the training for the Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P), demonstrating outstanding initiative and leadership. He was able to effectively incorporate training into routine operations at the Battalion level thanks to his understanding of the Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P). Resulting in a deeper understanding of the equipment's capabilities and increased the level of equipment familiarity among the Battalion's personnel.
  • Achievement 4: SPC Bowman performed extraordinarily as the Help Desk support for Battalion S6. He was an essential part of the team, completing over 500 trouble tickets and over 200 account creations for NIPR, MPE, TAC SIPR networks. SPC Bowman was also a crucial member of JRTC Exercise automation team, checking connectivity of all equipment, computers, VOIP phones and TCN Switches.
