My knowledge and skillset on the golf course is a valuable asset to any well respected firm, as this hobby is a great tool for customer relations and connections. In addition, I was in the PGA Professional program, but later decided that it was not the career path I wanted to take. I was on the Pierce County Golf Team from 7th through 12th grade. A few principles I learned during these years on the golf team that translate into a career are integrity, humility, respect, communication and resilience. I enjoy fly fishing as a hobby, as it is very relaxing and a good way to connect with nature. I tie my own flies to fish with and it allows me to reach an extra level of enjoyment with fishing. I love to hunt ducks as well as manage properties for them. It is a great passion of mine to hunt and to manage habitat for waterfowl and plant crops for them. Then the icing on the cake is watching all the hard work pay off when it comes time to hunt these animals.
Unrelated to my hobbies, here are some other activities that have further helped my ability to communicate with clients; I was a page for the House of Representatives as well as the State Senate for 4 years in a row. This gave me a great opportunity to work alongside well respected politicians in the state, and I even got to vote on a bill. I was a St. Illa National League of Junior Cotillion Assistant for 3 years and I was a participant in Junior Cotillion for 2 years prior to becoming an assistant. I was on the Junior US Open Sporting Clay, Trap, and Skeet team, winning multiple events.
