  • Responsible for airworthiness of assigned aircraft through scheduled hourly inspections, checks, adjustments, disassembly, removal, repair, modification, installation, operation, troubleshooting and diagnosing F-35 aircraft systems, components and accessories
  • Knowledgeable of equipment assembly, installation, repair of mechanical, electrical and pneudraulic, functional and operational tests of various major and minor systems to assigned F-35 Aircraft
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, TCTD’s, blueprints, schematics, service bulletins, instructions and specifications
  • Great understanding using PMA/MVI to control mission systems, general aircraft doors, flight control surfaces, weapons bay doors and aircraft configuration
  • Performs mechanical installation, maintenance and repair/reassemble aircraft components and check for operational deficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tech data through use of ALIS/JTD for appropriate variant and software load
  • Ability to use and maintain all tools of the trade, measuring instruments, test equipment, test stands and cockpit instruments
  • Trains/guides lower graded civilian/military employees using proper Technical Data and safety procedures
  • Ability to operate motor vehicle, tow vehicle and heavy support equipment vehicle
