As a project manager i was having an end to end responsibility for engineering, procurement, construction and T&C of the project. A major challenge in the project was that the design was handled by 3 different designers with offices in different time zones. The project had 8 very important stakeholders, most of them government entities. Though the project commencement was delayed by 2 months but i managed to bring the progress back on track within 6 months of its start. Maintained an SPI of 0.97 to 1.02 through out the project duration.

Special Features of the project: Two minarets of 90 meter height and 3 domes of 35 meter dia. Responsibilities: I had a team of 6 engineers under me for construction of an iconic mosque with high end finishes. I was involved in the project right from the tendering stage till its completion. The project obtained an
EOT of 14 months with associated preliminaries cost as delays by client was established by me. Due to a close watch on indirect expenses we were able to save 5% over the budgeted indirect cost.
I implemented many innovative methods in alternate usage of materials (Value Engineering) thereby saving nearly 2% of the direct cost, a part of which was passed on to the client too. The project was awarded as the most safety conscious site in GULF by Internal Audit team & also won the trophy from British Safety Council

Responsibilities: Prepared the construction schedule & resource schedule for the
factory building, liaised with external agency for timely fabrication & delivery of structural steel modular building. Since it was a small
project client billing & subcontractor billing was also done by me.
Outsourced erection of the modular building to an agency and thus
saved in VISA cost of mobilizing own workmen from India.

Special Features of the project: 10 silos of 65 meter height & 32 meter radius.
Responsibilities: It was a very challenging project in terms of climatic conditions of
the site, availability of resources; time bound with LD clause & complexity of the structure. I was section in charge for iron ore crusher, gypsum crusher, clinker & cement silos, raw mill piers, gypsum conveyors & Main Sub Station. All the structures were completed in time with zero LTI & NCRs. I also helped the project
management team in preparation of claims, final certifications, and negotiation with client for reimbursement of additional works etc.
Current Status of the project: Completed on time with a profit margin of 8%
I joined the organization as a Trainee Engineer and worked in Tendering & Contracts department and in construction of projects like automobile factory, railway station, high rise towers, 5 start hotels, film studios etc. I achieved a cycle time of 6 days per floor for a five star hotel & 12 days per floor for a high rise building. Got very good knowledge in piling works, rock anchoring, firefighting & plumbing works in commercial buildings etc.
