  • Responsibilities:
  • Revamp existing micro-services and develop APIs to handle new business requirements.
  • Developed business logic/framework to enhance the event by adding pertinent details for visa, Amex and master card pre-authorization transactions. The pre-authorization requests from merchants are handled asynchronously.
  • Developed REST service to respond with transaction history details for issuances and redemptions.
  • Designed, and developed a Rules Engine that would dynamically apply rules for incoming transactions based on offers configured in the system.
  • Optimized the existing logic in Spring Batch to provide faster responses for millions of redemption transactions that transpire daily.
  • Re-built transaction engine v2 using JAX-RS. The transaction engine v1 uses JAX-WS.
  • Built optimized algorithms to manage member’s house hold information.
  • Developed code to support importing of accounts for version 2. 5 million records from Ahold participant would be imported to Fuel Rewards Network.

  • Product: Sterling Secure Proxy 3.5.0.0 (Configuration Manager & Engine)
  • Developed a shared object (.so) file for ascp to call back methods in the shared object. Buffers are written and read from shared memory.
  • Added support for Aspera’s FASP protocol in Secure Proxy. Data is sent on UDP, while control packets are sent on TCP. The data was read using FaspManager, stored in shared memory, and further read by FASP Manager to be processed by Secure Proxy.
  • Collaborate with software architects from the Industry Solutions and WebSphere Commerce division to provide cloud based solutions for Secure Proxy.
  • Environment: Java8, Eclipse, C, Red Hat Linux, Aspera Fasp servers, FaspManager SDK, Aspera PVCL (C library)
