- The music is what drives a church, so it's the bands job to make sure that performance is good and always on point, but not to the point where it takes away from the sermon
- Meaning an extra amount of fills and excess playing on the drums is not needed
- The drums are the backbone of the band so without them, the church or anyplace where drums are needed are left with nothing, and that is what keeps drummers motivated
- Also being a leader to the young ones is vital in the church as well
- Kids are easily influenced by anything so as the drummer things have to be done professionally and carefully
- Lastly the drummer is able to build strong connections with people in the church which is very common
- The drummer as well as the rest of the band can also even raise the amount of offerings handed in on any given Sunday.
