When encountering a dead end, the robot should remember its previous actions and go back to its initial position. It does so by using 3 functions that determine each other the three decisions the robot can make: move forward, pivot turn left, or pivot turn right. It stores the actions and the necessary data for it to repeat its actions inside a list of dictionaries., Putty Knife Replication, Using Inventor 2024, I sketched half of the object, making sure the model was scale by precisely dividing the measurements, so I could then mirror it. The handle had the most detail and it took me the most time, but after the sketch, I extruded to the real width of the knife., VEXcode IQ Python Project, Instead of going through a maze and remembering it, we used a distance sensor; this allows the robot to provide real-time feedback about the robots' surroundings. The robot can detect the objects and act accordingly in time due to its precise distance measuring capabilities. In the physical setup, the sensor is in the front to detect objects directly in its path, and it has room on the body for the head to rotate and expand on its field of view.
