Over 30 years, I had the overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, plus the safety of the crew and passengers.

• Developed and filed flight plans with air traffic control for coordination with scheduled flights before, during and after route completion.
• Ordered adjustments in fuel quantity, cargo and baggage loads and flight routes and schedules to provide complete safety and optimal efficiency in flights.

I proudly retired from the airlines in August, 2021.

• Taught intensive six-month Part 61 program, mostly international students from Finland, Sweden, and Denmark, the aircraft systems, procedures and other flight-related subjects pertaining to Cessna 150, Piper Warrior and Piper Aztec aircraft. Private Pilot to CFII.
• Executed high-level training instruction involving steep turns, stalls and emergency procedures.
• De-briefed students after flights to work through issues, answer questions and use teachable moments to correct serious problems.

Rebuilding homes for the local residents after a hurricane destroyed homes three years earlier. My duties were to help construct the walls, roof, and flooring for the residents of Kauai, Hawaii using, communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability.
