Summary

Sensible Field Operations Support Specialist, Regional Operations manager, and now currently Project Manager with Flock Safety since January of 2021. My past careers, all my roles in the law enforcement field, construction field and as a technician have helped me to look at complications from multiple angles. This has been a tremendous help to me in my current role as the job itself has changed and one must be able and willing to adapt. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals and enjoy a positive work environment.

During my time in Project Management, I have managed one of the largest portfolios on the team to include multiple types of accounts which include major, core, community safety, and commerical accounts. I have planned and assisted scheduling phases for large projects as well as monitored project performance. I have identified areas of improvement and discussed with my customer, as well as my internal teams, on processes to efficiently move projects over the finish line. I have assisted in training new hires and continue to do so.

As a Field Operations Support Specialist, I oversaw and evaluated the work of 3-5 Field Technicians daily. I am responsible for creating schedules for these technicians, which is both efficient and productive. Police Officer, Uniformed Road Patrol

I was assigned to uniform patrol and in September of 2019, I was released to full solo status with zero extensions and zero remedial training. I performed general police patrol functions such as traffic enforcement and accident investigations, conflict resolution, misdemeanor and felony case investigations, drug investigations, writing and completing arrest and search warrants and completing interviews. I executed arrest and search warrants and handled evidence appropriately. I routinely patrolled assigned areas helping reduce crime and protect the public.. Proficient in first responder level first aid and all issued equipment. Knowledgeable on local, state, federal laws, and county ordinance violations.

Hired in December of 2011 and was assigned to the Cobb County Police Academy. Released from the academy and assigned to uniform patrol in 2012. Assigned to a field training officer and was released to solo status with zero extensions and zero remedial training. Once in solo status, I responded to dispatched calls for service, performed general police patrol functions such as traffic enforcement, accident investigations, conflict resolution, misdemeanor and felony case investigations, drug investigations, writing and completing arrest and search warrants and completing interviews. I executed arrest and search warrants and handled evidence appropriately. I routinely patrolled assigned areas helping reduce crime and protect the public. Proficient in first responder level first aid and all issued equipment. Knowledgeable on local, state, federal laws, and county ordinance violations.

In 2015 I was assigned as a field training officer where I successfully trained recruit officers to be well rounded patrol officers. As a field training officer, I was responsible for the recruit officers and was their direct supervisor. I would complete detailed reports on the recruit officers progress throughout our shifts. I would train on routine patrol functions, standard operating procedures, evaluate their knowledge of state and local laws as well as their understanding of department policies. I would recommend plus implement continued and focused training in areas that the recruit officers needed to improve in. Based on my training and evaluations I would recommend if the recruit officers would be released to solo status, require more training, or be terminated.

In March of 2016, I was assigned to the Cobb County Police Quality of Life Unit. I still performed normal police functions and responded to dispatched calls for service. In addition to these functions, I worked closely with code enforcement and oftentimes collaborated with them to plan, develop, and implement plans to assist neighborhoods and communities in need. I worked closely with police patrol units and other special units to complete goals and adjectives for the police department and the citizens we served.

In September of 2017 I was assigned to the Cobb County Community Affairs unit where I was one of the original officers assigned to the unit. I still performed normal police patrol officer duties. In addition to the normal police functions I performed, being a member of the Community Affairs Unit allowed me to meet with the citizens and foster relationships with the community to reduce crime, strengthen communication, transparency and enhance mutual respect. I assisted schools, businesses, and churches with active assaulter protocol regularly planning and holding meetings with these organizations while helping construct emergency plans. While helping with the emergency plans, I would recommend various safety precautions, help construct evacuation plans using the buildings or locations and answer questions by staff or community members. I assisted neighborhoods with crime reduction teaching them how to fortify their homes and areas in order to reduce crime. I helped communities set up neighborhood watch type units. I would speak at community and business meetings both on a small and large scale.

In December of 2018, I was assigned to the Cobb County Police Public Information Office. At this unit, I was a liaison between the department and various media outlets. I would complete and release press releases providing multiple media outlets with accurate, factual, and thorough information. I would assist in press conferences and do one on one interviews. I would respond to both emails and phone calls meeting deadlines provided by both my department and various media outlets. I was provided with access and made regular posts and updates on the departments various social media platforms without requiring supervisor approval before posting. I would answer questions I requested to be placed back on patrol to assist with manpower issues and was placed back on a patrol unit in June of 2019.

Motorcycle Technician

Privately owned multiple manufacturer motorcycle service establishment, selling used and new motorcycles. I began my employment with Powerline Cycles in July of 2001. Originally, I started detailing motorcycles for sale, cleaning and restocking the showroom, and assisting customers.

I then began to work on and learned how to repair powersports equipment. This continued to the point where I would complete basic services on equipment such as routine maintenance, oil changes, tire changes and so on. I became proficient in all these skills and advanced my skill sets to complete engine and drivetrain rebuilds on classic, vintage and modern equipment, and full motorcycle restorations on classic and vintage motorcycles as well as providing safety inspections on vehicles. . I would handle detailed diagnostics and complete estimates for machines.

I would handle ordering, receiving, returns, and restocking for the dealership. I would assist customers with purchasing vehicles, accessories, and as a service writer. I would communicate with both parts suppliers and customers to ensure correct parts were obtained. I would complete billing for work performed on equipment and follow up with customers while work was being completed. I would assist other technicians and assign work to other employees in a managerial role.

After leaving the motorcycle dealership, I continued my self education by learning about new machines, new technical and service bulletins and continuing to work on various makes and models. I ride and maintain a wide

variety of motorcycles and use and test a wide variety of parts and apparel.
