Prepares, coordinates and conducts lessons plans based on the observed needs of the children that best benefit their growth and development. Maintains accountability and safety of children by providing a safe and clean environment by ensuring floors are clear of spills and that desks, tables and toys are sanitized. Prepares for meals and snacks times and conducts after meal cleanup. Conducts end of day classroom cleaning consisting of emptying trash cans, dusting and cleaning floors and tables. Manages and maintains inventories of supplies and equipment. Communicates concerns about safety, fitness, health, nutrition and educational needs to supervisors, parents and fellow employees.
