  • During my time with ProCom at cp1 Venture Global and Cameron we tested Breakers, ct’s, pt’s. Wire modifications on relays such as demo adding new cable while reading the schematic. Relay testing with a double machine while in regular and in maintenance bypass. Adjusting the equipment parameters such as timing, phaser angles, amps, also did VLF cable testing. I know every switch gear and cubicle along with what it feeds and where down to the numbers and cubicles such as 104-020-ETR-04005 secondary feeds the VFD 104-020-EVS-04001 with 72 cables.

  • I was a power operator and 3 units very quickly qualified on all 3 post and was in charge of 3 Heat Recovery Steam Turbine Generators which produced 450 megawatts per hour all together ,to power our entire complex and would sell the rest to Entergy. the role included making work packages to work on while, online or offline to lock out and fix issues. I was also apart of the fire fighting team along with medical and rescue at heights team. confined space entry. Part of our role was to create energy isolation plans so the problem could be worked on safely online or offline. Then I was offered the role as electrical engineer over new projects such as blade while still maintaining my role as an operator for the HRSG. We would create tie-ins and make red lines such as boiler tie-ins and steam let Downs.

  • I was 3rd person on the jobsite and met with Microsoft engineers and led MMR into the bidding process, and secured the job for MMR. I developed every single work package for the jobsite and built the schedule and made sure what activities were MMR’s and assigned days and hours to each task such as setting PDU and ATS’s and with Panel board Branch Circuits. I built panel board termination guide so the circuits would not be overloaded and talked to every vender and I dealt with ordering every single piece of material for the jobsite that was valued over 62 million dollars in just material. I deal with Microsoft directly and make the tough decisions that need to be made. sold and inspected every cable trey and ground termination.instected HV/MV termination, splices and stress cones qualified to do them and witness them being done

  • I was lead pre commissioning lead who was in charge of communications between Sasol clients and excel commissioning team, generated detailed punch list and made sure packages were finished by the expected deadline. Very good communication skills and very good at building strong trusting relationships with everyone I come in contact with and work with on a everyday basis. Was in charge of system turnover and to make sure everything worked properly as per contract. Was also involved in loop shutting and relay technician.

  • Efficient in reading prints and redlining prints when needed. I sent in NOI’s (Notice of Inspection) with clients and 3rd party clients including walking down lightning protection, lighting, conduit, grounding, cable tray, junction boxes, terminations, and selling off of these items. I was involved in building packets, which included finding a sheets along with the termination drawing, location drawing, and motor schematics if needed. I oversaw mugging and touring which had to be witnessed by the clients. Efficient in making detailed punch list and looking for code violations according to the NEC and make the punch list easy for foreman to read and complete. Always pay attention to detail and show up for work every day.

  • Started out doing QAQC on Train 5 and OSBL water treatment and when the turnover process was done, they moved me to start up to trouble shoot and correct and concerns that the client had. I interpreted and validated technical issues, test solutions, follow up and escalate when necessary. Maintained and repaired solenoids and regulators on co-generation systems. Operated and maintained electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, as well as computers. I tested and troubleshot and calibrated equipment in the field. Interpreted electrical and electronic schematics and mechanical layout to diagnose equipment problems.

  • Daily task included instillation of on conduit and lighting fixtures and terminations of those fixtures. I was a lead man for my foreman and ran a small crew in the control rooms and RIE buildings in charge of fibre optic installation, as well as grounding and mounting the monitors that filled the room. Installed cable tray and pulled cable into the trays so I am very familiar with cable management and how to work refinancing as well as spotting issues we may run into if we continue. Installed Transformers and termed them as well as a few stress cone terminations.

  • I was a material runner to learn all my fittings and items names, shortly after I learned conduit bend radius and started running conduit. I learned very quickie as I was able to adapt to plant life and took off with it. Quickly became a go to guy if anything needed to be fixed or they needed it done quickly and correctly.

  • I worked her while finishing my last year of college and responsibilities include loading trucks with glycerin and maintaining pumps and tanks to make sure they are working efficiently. We used caustic acid to raise the PH balance and the sulfuric to lower when needed. We needed to maintain a PH level of 7 to sell to clients. We also steamed the tanks for hours until the fat raise to the top of the tanks to sell to Mexico used for hand soaps and such. I oversaw truck schedules coordinating with truck companies asking them how much they needed and what date they needed it by and then filling the trucks to certain weight, so I am good with numbers.
