This committee met with Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, Jim Yovino, throughout the year to discuss the needs of Black Students in Fresno County and create systems that produce a safe and comfortable learning environment across all districts in Fresno County.

Black Students of California United Youth Senator (2018-2020):

Youth Senators represent the student members of the Black Students of California United and learn issues and concerns of their constituents, and report back to an executive board.

University of Miami Gravity Magazine Writer (2020-Present):

Gravity is a magazine production at the University of Miami, created by and for Black Students (but enjoyed by everyone) as an outlet to express their creativity by engaging in a multitude of topics, such as opinion pieces, local stories, and social justice issues through writing, videography, and photography. As a writer, I curtate article ideas, collect visual media, and produce content monthly.
