  • In my role as a Disability Examiner II, I was responsible for independently managing and adjudicating disability claims for residents in Texas and Georgia in accordance with Social Security Administration (SSA) rules and federal regulations. I handled cases from initial development through final determination, ensuring each claim was thoroughly evaluated, well-documented, and completed within required processing time.
  • I reviewed and analyzed detailed medical evidence, including physician records, diagnostic tests, and treatment histories, to determine the severity of physical and mental impairments. I applied SSA’s sequential evaluation process and medical-vocational guidelines to make fair and consistent eligibility decisions under both Title II (SSDI) and Title XVI (SSI) programs.
