Under supervision of Licensed mental health professionals in the psychiatry department, provided mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services children and adolescent members, and their families who present themselves for psychiatric evaluation with a broad range of mental health needs using the Focused Treatment Model.

• Provided in person and telehealth individual / family psychotherapy for members. Conferred and Consulted with supervisors, psychiatrists, PCPs, case managers, external providers, high acuity clinical team, and other Kaiser clinical staff regarding members progress and treatment involved in their care.
• Provided appropriate support to members parents and family, including psycho education and explanation of treatment, instructions in how to support treatment and interventions to increase acceptance of and adherence to treatment at home.
• Conducted initial and secondary assessments of members presenting to department.
• Under the supervision of clinical psychologist, developed and revitalized clinic’s child ADHD in person observation process and procedures, including creating and developing procedural materials for observation, clinician documentation, and staff training guidelines.
• Developed and co-facilitated an in person children’s social skills group called “Friendship Club”; designed for children ages 8-10 using play based interventions to increase children’s interpersonal skills. Created and implemented the curriculum for the group to run on an 8 week cohort model cycle.
• Prepared and maintains ongoing confidential records. Charts members treatment and progress in accord with Kaiser Permanente, state and NCQA regulations and in keeping with accepted community standards.
• Reported safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies.

Facilitated individual and family therapy sessions for diverse groups, including at-risk children, teens, and young adults, across multiple settings. Supported therapeutic interventions through home visits, tele-health consultations, and office meetings using evidence-based practices. Executed community outreach initiatives to deliver therapeutic services in various settings. Collaborated with families to support the mental health of children and young adults.
