Under supervision of Licensed mental health professionals in the psychiatry department, provided mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services children and adolescent members, and their families who present themselves for psychiatric evaluation with a broad range of mental health needs using the Focused Treatment Model.

  • Provided in person and telehealth individual / family psychotherapy for members. Conferred and Consulted with supervisors, psychiatrists, PCPs, case managers, external providers, high acuity clinical team, and other Kaiser clinical staff regarding members progress and treatment involved in their care.
  • Provided appropriate support to members parents and family, including psycho education and explanation of treatment, instructions in how to support treatment and interventions to increase acceptance of and adherence to treatment at home.
