Hard Turn Assembly
I was required to hone bearings to a specific measurement, and assemble rollers and cages. First I basically had to set the honer up, hone the parts. Then, move to the rollers and cages set up, you set the rollers into the cage then place the bearings into the cage w the rollers. Then comes the press, the press pushes the bearings into the roller and cages to assure it isn’t gonna fall out. They then go to a sound test where they are required to make no sound at all. They then go thru the “slusher” where the honing oil covers them to assure them from future rust.
