• Developed a business plan worked with my employee as well as clients to grow my business. Coupled my experience in running a business previously with a partner as well playing a partial management role in my fathers business. I then joined these skills together with 12 years of experience in the construction and painting trades along with retail experience as well to create a business of my own.

Ran various jobs on my own, in addition to supervising employees. In addition I also dealt with and collaborated with both clients and employees to ensure projects were completed in a timely manner as well as ensuring optimum customer satisfaction. In addition to these duties I also collaborated on developing project bids. I gained many years worth of structural carpentry knowledge, drywalling, painting, management, customer service and interpersonal skills. I also head to deal with subcontractors as well. My training was from my father as it was a family owned business, my father was in business for 28 years.

Collaborated with my partner to both run and bid jobs, along with subcontracting for Certapro painters of Northern RI, As well as doing work for a couple of realtors along with managing work for our own clients as well. During my time I ensured customer satisfaction for my clients as well as the entities we subcontracted for.

• Prepared surfaces for painting or staining by sanding them down or filling in holes or cracks with putty.
• Assisted in constructing wooden frames, walls, and roofs for residential homes.
• Measured and cut wood to specified sizes using saws, planers, routers, and other carpentry tools.
• Constructed outdoor decks using pressure treated lumber materials.
• Transported supplies from storage areas to job sites.
• Installed doors, windows, stairs, cabinets, shelves and trim.

Greeted and attended to customers. In addition ran a cash register and managed money along with a safe, was additionally responsible for ensuring that the coffee bar and shelves were stocked, cigarettes and lottery counted. In addition to these duties I was also tasked with resolving customer issues and providing friendly service.
