• I have also been involved in emergency deployable asset dispatches as well as mobile cell site integrations and testing to support large concerts and outdoor public venues.

• Perform new build and maintenance restoration splicing in of support Legacy transport and 1Fiber network RAN operations across a variety of cable types and equipment technologies including loose tube, ribbon, collapsible ribbon, inside plant, micro and OPGW
• Performed splicing, testing and audit work on cables with both dark fiber and lit services to support wireless RAN and OC transport circuits both Metro and ULH
• Performed backbone Fiber Characterzation and loss testing post path design and splicing to ensure highest possible performance for customers

Broke ground and supported Verizon Wireless in achieving their multiple 5G fiber network build goals 2019-2022

• Performed Install, maintenance and emergency restoration task on long haul fiber networks and associated equipment for customers such as Zayo, Southern across, Ciena and Infinera
• Performed field level maintenance and install/configuration support for a variety of essential network devices in environments such as commercial customer locations, Data Centers, Government buildings and unmanned long haul facilities
• Maintained over 25 long haul locations for Zayo across Northern California and Nevada
• Duties included routine preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC, DC Power Plant and AC Generator systems as well as routine environmental alarm testing.

• With GSU I worked on various fiber networks providing new build, maintenance and 24/7 emergency restoration throughout California for a variety of customers such as Century Link, Zayo, Google Fiber, Verizon and AT&T
• A few notable projects worked during my short time here includes maintaining and restoration of the Google Fiber legacy residential network in the Bay Area, Verizon 1Fiber network Sacramento and CenturyLink ULH network across Northern California.

• As a fiber splicer for CableCom’s Sacramento yard I performed splicing and testing under their Node-Zero Comcast network upgrade project
• My responsibilities included interpreting Engineering build and splice designs followed by splice, test and turn up duties
• I would maintain accurate splice and test records both locally and on a company drive for records maintenance and reference during add-mod’s and restoration
• Field work consisted of aerial and underground fiber infrastructure which included backbone, lateral and CWDM Mux components.

• As a fiber network technician for Webpass and primary splicer I helped to build out, splice and test their new Google Fiber network build in multiple San Francisco Bay Area markets
• My daily duties included underground network investigation, design and build to support MDU fiber delivery via AT&T legacy infrastructure and fiber termination points within private buildings, local Data Centers and AT&T POP’s.

• Working for CableCom as the Prime contractor for Comcast, I was on a small team of splicers and design engineers who worked to execute new build, maintenance and emergency restoration for in the greater Bay Area market and others
• Our work included locations such as Comcast Head-End’s, Hubs and major Metro-E customer premises such as Tesla, Google, Sales Force Multiple U.C Campuses, Stanford and others
• We also performed fiber network troubleshooting and testing for both legacy and new build networks including point to point connections, complex Head-End and field CWDM/DWDM applications as well as MDU and ULH Backhaul ROADM circuits.

Achievements:

Supported Comcast build, test and turn up of Levi’s Stadium and the New Apple Building in Cupertino.

Lead splicer for Comcast MDU build for Napa California’s Silverado Resort ahead of debut PGA Golf tournament.

• Working for Comcast was my career introduction to the Telecom Industry out of High School and I learned all of the basics for operating as a successful technician
• My responsibilities included completing daily routes within my assigned territory and surrounding to complete new install and service trouble tickets for residential and business customers
• Scope of work would include the install and certification of all Coax, twisted pair cabling and network devices associated with Cable Tv, High Speed Internet and Telephony services to the customer
• I operated safely in field while carrying out task including driving and maintaining my company van or bucket truck, climbing utility poles to service our aerial network and working in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
