I work on a rotational shift in this role to provide maintenance and process support across the production facility. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to,

• Creating/logging work orders.
• Inventory management.
• Assist in the training/development of other technicians.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance around scheduled machine downtime to drive maximin machine uptime.
• Measured parts with rulers, calipers and micrometers to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Calibrated and adjusted machinery for operational consistency.
• Operated hoists, cranes and power tools to disassemble machinery and remove defective parts.
• Analyzed blueprints and manufacturer instructions to take apart and reassemble machinery for maintenance and component replacements.

• In this role, with guidance I worked on
• Scheduled mechanical breakdowns, modifications, disassembly, and reassembly of fiber production machinery
• Timing adjustments, alignments, and calibrations of machinery components.
• Install and replace motors, drives, pumps, gearboxes pulleys, sprockets, belts, chains, bearings, aprons etc.
• Fabricate parts
• Install panels, thread, bend, and run conduit
