Nicholas Huddleston

Currently I care for one patient that has severe cognitive impairments including short & long term memory loss, social/maturity delays and confusion. They also suffered from multiple strokes and seizures causing extreme tremors and lack of balance/coordination. Bellow are the duties I perform.

• Promoted good oral and personal hygiene by bathing, shaving, and brushing teeth of patient
• Hand fed patient
• Transferring from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to chair, wheelchair to toilet etc. (all with nasal canula on)
• Trained by patients physical therapist, occupational therapist and speech therapist to do various daily exercises with patient
• Recorded BP, HR, and O2 vitals based on patients overall demeanor/face signs
• Utilized communication, empathy, and listening sills to develop an extremely positive relationship with the patient
• Participated in fun activities with patient to boost mood, improve overall memory, and provide entertainment.

• Kept work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Contributed to team success by completing jobs quickly and accurately.
• Learned all required responsibilities and orders quickly to maximize performance.
• Addressed and resolved customer complaints in polite and professional manner.
