Hi! I’m Nick, a freshman at the University of Southern California where I’m currently studying Computer Science and Business Administration. Software development has always been a passion of mine, and I love the creative freedom that its skills provide me.
As of now, I’m currently learning C++ and GO. My participation in SCOPE (USC's leading club for project-based learning in software development) has helped me develop a fundamental understanding of both languages.
Outside of academics, I am currently training for a marathon while actively participating in basketball and weightlifting. In general, I fell in love with exercising because I can test how far I can push my limits.
Each participating high school is allowed to nominate only one outstanding student from their junior class to receive the Rensselaer Medal.
For more than 100 years, Rensselaer, in conjunction with high schools around the world, has awarded the Rensselaer Medal to promising secondary school students who have distinguished themselves in mathematics and science.
