Summary
I am a 35 year old male, who is currently attending Indian River State college, and expected to graduate in may 2024 with an associates degree in human services. I plan on continuing my education by working towards my bachelors degree in human service at Indian River State college.
I am originally from New York State and relocated to Florida In January of 2019 to accept a Job at Treasure Coast Boys Academy in Vero Beach. I began as a direct care staff also know as group house parent for at risk boys ages 12-17. After 1 year of work I was quickly promoted to direct care supervisor and training facilitator. In the late spring of 2022 the kitchen manager/lead cook quit and I stepped in to be the interim kitchen manager. I have been doing kitchen manager for 18 months and also still provide leadership, encouragement, and training to the team.
I am looking to take my talents to a new location as I finish up my associates degree at Indian River State College. I believe in preforming any job with a consistent spirit of excellence and to remain focused on having a positive and encouraging attitude, even in the face of adversity.
