Nick Harvey

• Building deep relationships with alumni, donors, and friends of OSU on behalf of the College of Agricultural Sciences to further the important mission of the college in tackling the worlds most pressing issues; feeding and protecting our planet for the future.

Was responsible for planning and implementing major parts of WWU Give Day, which raised over a million dollars each year I led it. I managed a portfolio of 500 mid-level donors, discovering, cultivating, and soliciting them up to major gifts. Additionally, I played a large role in our overall annual giving strategy.

I re-structured and branded the WWU Phonathon into a modern Engagement Center before I hired, trained and supervised a team of 30 student employees to increase the quality and quantity of communication with constituents and donors. I was also responsible for the university's crowdfunding efforts, through my management and strategy, I increased giving through the platform by over 400%.

• Sold large exterior construction contracts to homeowners and saw them through the install process. I made sure everything was communicated effectively and that the customer was happy with everything from the design to financing.

• I contacted hundreds of donors, alumni, and parents in my time at the foundation and personally raised tens of thousands of dollars for various university programs.

• In charge of daily operations of animal care such as feeding, medication, examination and treatment.

• Was included in an effort to estimate the snow leopard population of the Zanscar range based on remote camera data and prey analysis. Worked as part of a team trekking the remote region setting up cameras and recording data for the population estimate.
