Nick Morrow

• I have 19 years of dedicated service to Oncor. I have held various jobs, including: Meter reader, 1 year; Line Crew, 8 years; Serviceman, 4 years; DOT, 5 years; and my current position of Crew Supervisor, going on 1 year and 4 months. Working for Oncor has provided a challenging work environment and a wealth of knowledge. I have learned so much over the years from others. And I have passed on the knowledge that I have gained to others. I strive for others around me to be successful. I believe this strengthens the work group and gives people goals to work towards. I have always been an inquisitive person and looked forward to the ever-changing work environment that Oncor provides. Working at Oncor for 19 years has put me in many challenging situations and a variety of scenarios. Each one of those I have seen as a learning experience. And has made me a more well-rounded employee and sharpened my critical thinking skills under pressure. I look forward to many years of service and helping other employees achieve their goals as well.

• Promoted a culture of accountability within the crew by setting clear expectations and holding individuals responsible for their actions.
• Communicated effectively with upper management, crew members, and customers to keep everyone informed.

Up to date on Oncor technology advances and equipment. Have gained knowledge and the push and implementation of fire mitigation. I have worked and met with various groups locally and outside my current area. I have a good understanding of the Oncor system hows it operates and maintained. Have gained a number of resources that I could rely on for information, as well as myself being a resource for others if needed. Have gained knowledge in various computer programs. And really have gained a lot of knowledge of understanding people. And what makes people feel motivated and not motivated, and the human psychology behind the employee. This has been learned from being a leader of a group sometimes very challenging but very rewarding when i see others succeeded. And above all else, the importance of Safety in our work group and to be safety intentional. I achieve this by being consistent everyday and not to waiver from policy and procedure and safety put in place by Oncor. And to know that i can rely on others as well when i have question. And having the work group buy-in on Safety. And understanding that we are always evolving as a employee and as a company. I fill what i lack in not having a degree I make up in experiences, situations and scenarios through the years to make up for that.
