Nicolas Zavala

San Antonio,TX

Summary

I am selected by my school to be part of the Research Science Scholars program, which includes a two-week intensive hands-on lab course, teacher mentoring, and quarterly research paper data reports. In addition, I have been part of mock labs and have taken additional micro/macro biology courses. With this amazing opportunity, I aim to use my skills to complete a minimum of forty hours of research to familiarize myself more with lab procedures and the scientific process in general. I wish to be a meaningful part of a research team and will be responsible and diligent in completing any work necessary. If there is a section of work that I need to learn more about to accomplish my part to the best of my ability, I will take it upon myself to fully immerse myself in studying about and executing the procedures to my best degree.
