  • Draw blood from veins using vacuum tubes, syringes, or butterfly venipuncture methods. Organize or clean blood-drawing trays, ensuring all instruments are sterile and all needles, syringes, or related items are for first-time use.
  • Dispose of contaminated sharps in accordance with applicable laws, standards, and policies. Perform drug screens as well as fingerprints.
