I have worked for the City of Fresno for 27 years and have been currently working as a Customer Service Clerk for Utility Billing and Collections within the Department of Finance since 2005, where I take pride in working in the Special Billing department under UB&C. My tasks include uniquely examining, adjusting, resolving, and posting consumption statistics and data prior to our monthly billing cycles. My duties include reviewing weekly exception reports and processing water consumption intel, adjusting credits, exemptions, and miscellaneous charges for commercial, multi-residential, and residential customer accounts without delay. As well as, creating, holding, and processing a variety of service orders, incorporating meter exchanges and billing components, including knowledge and insight to calculate and process perplexing, challenging clerical applications. In addition to strategizing weekly AMR service order work for the Utility Service Representatives and fellow principal account clerks. Plus, reviewing and selecting missing endpoint communication reads through BEACON, an advanced metering program that monitors and manages water usage more efficiently.
