Paraprofessional Certification - 2019

Back in the year 2019, My High School offered an Education Profession CTE Class that lasted one year. In which having to take this class, students taking the class gets the opportunity to take the ParaPro Assessment. This allows individuals who pass the assessment to be able to work in an educational setting under the supervision of licensed educators. From having to learn so much about stages of child development, classroom management, creating and learning to make lesson plans. We used what we learn in the classroom into being interns at local elementary in the area. My classmates and I engaged and assisted the teacher we got to work with being their teacher assistant. Myself and my classmates got the opportunity to interact with the students. With myself having to work with a kindergarten classroom, I was able to work with young children. But by the end of our hands-on training being intern teacher assistants my classmates and I needed to create a one-hour lesson plan. It was our final exam and we had to let a classmate record us teaching the students through our phones. For we would send the recorded video to my teacher Ms. P for her to grade. Once our hands-on training being an intern teacher assistant, we then to study and prepare for the ParaPro Assessment. In which on April 24, 2019 my classmates and I went to Willams Field High School in Gibert, AZ to take our assessment. For then I scored a 465, as then I pass the assessment.
