I provide a wound care treatments and procedures. I order and interpreted diagnostic tests to develop and implement treatment plans, complete wound cultures and manage treatments for wound cultures and assist with inpatient wound care rounds and recommendations.

Delivered information and valuable instructions to students during clinical rotations. I focus on promoting a positive student learning environment. I have developed and created clinical discussion topics to assess student skills. I have monitored progress of each student and provided formal evaluation of students.

I provide immediate post-op care for patients following general and orthopedic surgeries. I help assess and care for medical patients admitted to the hospital.

I am trained to respond to any emergency situation. Trained to diagnose and treat minor injuries/illnesses under supervision of a provider and to propose a differential diagnosis list to an MD for more serious issues. I am currently being trained to teach medical leadership classes.

I provided complete care for pediatric and adult patients who where trach/vent and G-tube dependent. I completed careplans and reviewed them with the patients families, doctors on the medical team, nurses and medicare/medicaid.

Started as a CNA and worked my way up to LPN and RN as I progressed my education. Mainly worked in short term rehab but also floated to the nursing home regularly. I was typically responsible for passing medication, head to toe assessments, managing insulin, assisting with residents ADL's and assisting with therapy exercises.

I worked in an inpatient LRDP (labor, delivery, and post-partum) unit that also took pediatric patient. We also answered triage phone calls for women's health, pediatrics and the Covid clinic outside of business hours.
