Summary

I have many years in the service industry dating back to teenage years. Minimal professional experience in regards to teaching. Went back to school, with the specific goal of becoming a teacher. Some community service work involving kids over the years, such as at a local community center for extra credit in a psychology class. Also, spent two years volunteering time once a month to a juvenile detention center in Orange County, California. Helped to coordinate speakers each month to come and share their stories in hopes of future crime and substance abuse prevention. This experience profoundly influenced desire to go into teaching. Full time student since becoming a mother in 2020. Fortunate to stay home with my son, which is why most recent job in employment history was over four years ago.
