• Open and close the branch, ensure the vault and cash controls are followed
• Oversee daily transactions (deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, loans)
• Ensure policies, procedures, and internal controls are followed
• Monitor branch performance reports and key metrics
• Handle audits and regulatory checks

Staff Management

• Supervise tellers, customer service reps, and loan officers
• Schedule staff shifts and manage coverage
• Train new employees and coach existing staff
• Conduct performance reviews and address disciplinary issues
• Meet with high-value or business clients
• Ensure high levels of customer service throughout the branch

Sales and Business Development

• Promote bank products (accounts, loans, credit cards, investments)
• Set and track sales goals for the branch
• Identity opportunities to grow deposits and lending
• Network in the community to attract new customers

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with banking laws
• Review suspicious activity reports and exception reports
• Maintain security procedures and fraud prevention measures
• Protect customer data and financial assets

Financial Oversight

• Monitor branch profitability and expenses
• Manage cash flow and inventory

Security and Safety

• Oversee branch security systems and protocols
• Respond to security incidents or emergencies
• Ensure staff follows robbery and safety procedures
