Accomplished Nurse Practitioner with a proven track record at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, specializing in cardiology and spinal cord injury care since 2012. Currently I am a Ph. D. student at Marquette University, Milwaukee. In my program of research, I am interested in understating nutritional status in individuals with spinal cord injury and the impact optimal nutrition has on overall health. Specifically, I am interested in identifying the use of a handheld indirect calorimeter compared to indirect calorimetry in nutritional assessment to improve health outcomes.
