• Coordinates Birth Tissue donation process by obtaining informed consent, completing the Donor Risk Assessment Interview, and determining suitability for donation
• Enters timely and accurate medical records in electronic database

•Monitors heart rhythm pattern of patient's in special care unit of hospital to detect abnormal pattern variances, using telemetry equipment

•Reviews patient information to determine normal heart rhythm pattern, current pattern, and prior variances

•Observes a cardiac monitor and listens for alarm to identify abnormal variation in heart rhythm

•Informs supervisor or nurse, of variances to initiate examination of patient

• Measures length and height of patient's heart rhythm pattern on graphic tape readout, using calipers, and posts information on patient records

• Answers calls for assistance from patient's and inquiries concerning patient's from medical staff, using intercom and call director

• Monitoring and reviewing patient EKG rhythms, assembling charts, scanning patient record information, creating and preparing appropriate forms with correct patient identifiers

• Set-up telemetry monitoring equipment, assisting Physicians with securing additional medical records

• Answer telephones and call lights with effective communication skills to best serve patient and caller

• Arranging transportation and accommodations for patient transfers, prompt communication to appropriate persons

• Using allotted time wisely and effectively, complete daily tracking forms, coordinate staffing, and assist with staffing assignments, preceptor and case management

• Report and resolve mechanical failures
